These are the movies that I have seen in last few days!
The Forbidden Kingdom. Well, at first I was a bit reluctant to watch this because it is a fantasy movie. I'm not really into too-much-flying-around-and-blow-people-away-with-a-breath kinda movies. But, Jackie Chan and Jet Li, together for the first time ever! How can I not watch the movie with two greatest living martial arts legends right? I enjoyed the fight sequences with some pretty decent humor. Oh, I was surprised. It is written and directed by Americans!
27 Dresses. Not as good as I thought it would be. This is a see-it-with-your-girlfriends kind of movie. Not with your boyfriend. He MIGHT fall asleep halfway.
Iron Man. We watched this movie after a wonderful lunch on one fine day. This is the best superhero movie I have ever seen. I'm sure you'll agree. If you haven't watched it yet, get your ass to the theatre!

You Are Chinese Food
Exotic yet ordinary.
People think they've had enough of you, but they're back for more in an hour.
Back for more... LOL!

The restaurant (specialized in Penang hawker-style food) is located opposite Starbucks at Dataran Sunway, Kota Damansara
Trishaw ride, anyone?
I experienced in Malacca once and it started pouring rain when we were on a trishaw ride! Imagine us without extra clothes (a day trip). LOL.
Iced white coffee, my all time favourite.
Ice kacang. Not much of gula melaka (palm sugar) syrup added.
Char Kway Teow (Fried flat rice noodles).
Prawn Mee. I am a big fan of it. Salivating? But in Penang, Prawn Mee is called as Hokkien Mee. I'm not sure why.
There is no denying that Penang is a food heaven. I remember when I was there for my holiday, I spent most of my time eating!

We (4 of us) went for brunch at this restaurant in USJ 9, Taipan on Wesak Day and we will NOT return again!
The food was "OK", nothing special. Each of us ordered a bowl of noodles with fish balls, fried fish cakes, fried tofu, 3 not-so-big pieces of fish and 4 drinks. The iced white coffee was nice.
That's the piece of
sh*t fish at the far right!
We had extremely simple orders, but the bill came up to a whopping RM 95.75!!!!!! It was much more than we had expected.
Ralph asked the cashier, "Are you sure that's my bill?" *pointed at our table*
"Yes. RM 54.00 for 3 pieces of fish." *almost fainted*
Don't you think it was terribly overpriced for a so-so meal? We wouldn't mind paying for the all-out tasting food, but definitely not the food in Ah Koong Eating House!

Well, Father's Day is just around the corner and again, I asked myself, "What should I buy for the extraordinary man in my life, who loved me without condition?" Last year, I flew back home just to celebrate with him. Unfortunately, this year I can't make it but I have decided to get him a present that can be delivered right to his doorstep. So, I went to the shopping center looking for a perfect gift. Basically, he has everything. Yet, who doesn't love surprises? But after one whole day of hunting, I came home empty handed! *sigh* The crowds, the queues, the traffic... argh!
Alternate plan, without having to leave the comfort of my home, sat in front of the computer screen with a cuppa coffee on a typical day, I tried to enjoy my shopping experience on the Internet. Oh, I promise not to buy shirts and shoes this year. I think I might get a gift basket fill with some little items, along with a coupon for him to come and see his beloved daughter.
Of course, the discounts are also important for me. Since I am going to get a present, at the same time, I'm looking for some clothes to decorate my closet too. *evil grin*

Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. has opened at the Curve by the Naza Group Of Companies!
The restaurant based on a motion picture "Forrest Gump".
Forrest: Hello, I'm Forrest... Forrest Gump.
Army Bus Driver: Nobody gives a bunk of shit who you are, fuzzball! You're not even a low-life scumsucking maggot! Get your faggoty ass on the bus. You're in the Army now!
We were dining outside of the restaurant's bailiwick and I expected to see
The "Run Forrest Run" license plate (on each table), conveys the message "Everything is fine, don't bug me."
If you show the "Stop Forrest Stop", a waiter or waitress will stop and get you with whatever you need. Great idea.
Forrest: (voice-over) Anyway, like I was saying, I had a lot of company. My Momma always said you got to put the past behind you before you can move on. And I think that's what my running was all about. I had run for three years, two months, fourteen days, and sixteen hours.
A bucket filled with bottled sauces.
All the names on the menu in theme with the movie.
The ping pong paddle (chained to the table) menu featured variety of desserts and drinks.
Jenny's Favorite (RM 10.90) - Strawberries, Cranberry Juice, and Non-fat Raspberry Frozen Yogurt made this Jenny's favorite and my favorite too!
Blueberry Smoothie (RM 10.90) - Blueberries, Strawberries and Non-fat Vanilla Frozen Yogurt. Very creamy.
Jenny: You remember that time we prayed, Forrest? We prayed for God to turn me into a bird so I could fly far, far away?
Forrest: Yes, I do.
Jenny: You think I can fly off this bridge?
Forrest: What do you mean, Jenny?
The friendly and handsome waiter, B J. He asked Ralph some trivia questions based on the 1994 movie Forrest Gump.
Tell me what are Forrest's favorite colours? *hint*
Mama Gump's Garlic Bread (RM5.90).
We had Forrest's favorites,
Bourbon Street Baramundi (RM 29.90) - Charbroiled cajun spices Baramundi with bourbon street sauce and shrimp served over mashed potatoes. A wonderful combination and it was delicious!...guaranteed to fill you up.
Captain's Fish & Chips (RM25.90) - Seafood battered Baramundi. Well, nothing special.
Bubba: Anyway, like I was sayin', shrimp is the fruit of the sea. You can barbecue it, boil it, broil it, bake it, saute it. There, uh, shrimp kabobs, shrimp creole... shrimp gumbo, panfried, deep fried, stir fried. There's pineapple shrimp, lemon shrimp, coconut shrimp, pepper shrimp... shrimp soup, shrimp stew, shrimp salad, shrimp and potatoes, shrimp burger, shrimp sandwich... that's, that's about it.
Forrest Gump is one of his favorite movies, so he found it doubly enjoyable.
Forrest: What's my destiny, Momma?
Mrs. Gump: You're gonna have to figure that out for yourself. Life is a box of chocolates, Forrest. You never know what you're gonna get.
The desserts looked good but we were much too full to try one, as always.
Our bill was about RM 96.00 for the two of us, not terribly expensive, but not cheap either.
Two-storey affair reminiscent of a wooden cabin. Pictures taken when we were on our way back.
By the way, we've finally watched Iron Man. Okay, I will talk about it soon!

Steven and his wife invited us (again) for dinner. When we reached their house, the meals were ready!
I love cauliflower, but this the first time I had purple cauliflower (from organic-food store).
Kangkung belacan (water spinach with shrimp paste).
It has been a while since I had vinegar pork knuckles.
Delicious; after all, it was the effort of just one person (Steven's wife)!
After dinner, they opened a bottle of red wine and four of us
danced chatted the night away.
