Before you ask me who FatCow is, it is a web hosting provides you with one web hosting plan and one set payment term. Is that simple enough? Smileys Initially I just did some browsing at the Gobbler Hosting and get a better understanding of things such as how to choose a website hosting provider to what is disk space or bandwidth and how much do I need. And, I happened to stumble upon FatCow which offer only one simple hosting package. Meaning I don't get confused with too many choices and all I get is inside this all-inclusive hosting plan. It's cheap, reliable, features riched, and CUTE. Smileys With $3.67/month, I'll get unlimited disk space, unlimited bandwidth, unlimited POP Mailboxes, unlimited MySQL Databases, unlimited domains hosted, and quite a few advertising vouchers to help get my website marketing started. Smileys Also, free domain for life included!

I begin with asking myself the question: Do I really need a blog with better flexibility and branding potential or a blog to be hosted on its own hosting with a unique domain name? I even entered the domain that I wish to use in the box at FatCow and click "Check Domain Name" to see whether the domain is available for purchase. Smileys

And, the results....

dang, it's already taken!!

And the owner is.... Smileys

is a unique French themed attraction!

The attraction has been modeled after the 16th century Colmar village in Alsace, France. I've been there twice and planning my third trip there!

#9 Argh, SO HOT! *run**run**run*

I'm always looking for ways to manage my stress and my mom often tells me to meditate on scripture. I know I should be doing this. The problem is that, I find it difficult to meditate. It's so difficult to "turn off" my mind, almost like trying to have quiet time to calm my mind only amplifies my inner chatter and the anxiety that goes with it. For me the greatest problem in meditation is thoughts preventing any connection. Smileys

I read an article before of how these powerful Quartz Crystal Singing Bowls provide people the opportunity to have a transformational experience. So when I came across these beautiful creations of nature called singing bowls, I was like, "What is a singing bowl?" Smileys I have heard that singing bowls are often found as a part of feng shui. Practitioners believe that the bowls clear a living area of bad energy. Well, the tones produced by crystal bowls are not just heard by the ear; you feel them in your body, with certain tones affecting your energy centers (chakras) for healing, balancing and meditation. It has been found that among the wave patterns of different singing bowls there is a measurable wave pattern which is equivalent to the alpha waves produced by the brain. These bowls instill a sense of deep relaxation and "inner space opening up". You can find complete details at Silver Sky Imports as they include individual sound samples, pictures and descriptions for each bowl. Many other related products such as Crystal Singing Bowl Accessories, Nepali Gongs, Malas Beads and Tibetan Singing Bowls also included. So go check it out! Smileys

Does anyone here own his or her singing bowl? If yes, I'm sure you have access to a magic land of great variety! Smileys

The weather has been very hot and humid lately and the extreme heat is driving me nuts! Just like the other day when I wanted to go to 1 Utama for shopping. My shine factor increased 100x's while I was waiting for Ralph at my front porch. Oh dear what do you do to stop the shine? I felt grumpy of how my makeup was melting. "It's not going to stay. It's going to melt." Smileys And I felt crummy and cranky, because I was having a really bad hair day too! Smileys My hair was completely messed up and I looked like I just received shock treatment.

Shortly after we reached there, Ralph brought me to Fish & Co. Restaurant to satisfy my craving for the cheese-stuffed New York Fish and Chips. He always knows exactly what to do and never fail to cheer me up. Strangely enough the restaurant was quite packed, so instead, we had to dine at the rainforest area (the area with the greens and waterfall). I was slightly reluctant to sit outside since there are no air-conditioners. Fortunately, they have these unique Minka Aire Concept II fans which provide the maximum comfort. They are a great choice for their unique style, and in some cases, their superior performance. So we sat down and relaxed as we dined amidst the sounds of a cascading waterfall in a lush "rainforest". There is nothing like staying cool on those hot evenings and I was thinking this outdoor ceiling fan is also perfect for my covered porch! Smileys

By the way, ever wonder what its like to drink like a fish?? Smileys Needless to say, I spent most of the time ordering Pink Passion after Pink Passion.
See, it's oh so easy to make me happy or laugh. Smileys

Friday, September 25, 2009 we go!

1. One week ago today, I was having dinner at William's @ Taman Mayang Jaya.

The Chicken Premium Steak (RM15) was truly yummy!

2. I had the opportunity to learn to play the piano when I was young.

3. Mama told me not to come. That ain't the way to have fun.

4. It's our little secret. Just between you and me.

5. Take your time and don't rush into marriage.

6. This has been a pretty lousy week and I hope this will pass soon!

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to hearing from you, tomorrow my plans include meeting a police officer (my old friend) and Sunday, I want to get out of the house!

in 1Utama Shopping Centre.

On the first day of Hari Raya, we went to 1Utama for shopping! Over there, the scene of the coastal market is depicted as a tribute to the hardworking fishermen. The whole ambience takes shoppers to the olden and simpler times of the past.

So, the theme is all about reunion.

“It is about the hardworking fishermen, who go out to sea to earn a living, coming back to the family.

“The whole thing ties up with the spirit of Hari Raya, where the family reunites for the celebration.

They wanted to capture everything and they tried to get items as close as possible to the 30s and 40s era.

#4 A sprinkling of seashells, fishing nets, mangrove trees, oil-lamps and sand.

#5 The fishmonger's hut, complete with an old Vespa scooter.

#6 A band playing traditional Malay music.

#7 The Lower Ground Floor is decorated as a traditional port for fishing, bartering and trade, with life-size sampans doubling as kiosks perfectly placed.

#8 The water market concept is used for tenants' booths, with traders selling their goods in wooden models of boats.

The celebrations would not be complete without the presence of

#9 the ketupat and lemang, glutinous rice cooked in bamboo,

#10 its accompanying rendang, a spicy and rich beef or chicken dish. Smileys
We bought some ketupat and rendang but I ate WAY too much (YUMMY!) and I farted non-stop! Smileys
