Chinese New Year has always made me happy; delicious home cooked food, get-togethers with family and friends, and of course, the angpau!
Being back after 2 weeks vacation, I am still not in the right mood for anything. Seriously, I need to get out of my vacation mood and get back my blogging mojo.
Anyway here are some pictures I took during the Chinese New Year...
What to do on a 3 hour flight? I couldn't sleep FML
This is the Queen, the most important person in my life.
People I love!
Flowers in my mom's garden and I have no idea what it is called.
*dong dong dong chiang* It was exciting to see the enthusiastic lion dance!
Without noise makers firecrackers the CNY would be incomplete.
Yee sang, an auspicious must-try dish during CNY.
It is said that while tossing the yee sang, you have to wish out loud for what you want, and raise your chopsticks as high as you can. Dang I was too hungry and I forgot to say my wish aloud!
Cousin brother, Dr. Nick got married on the fifth day of CNY. That's the wedding car.
The wedding cupcake tower.
As usual, I took a ton of pictures! I'll post some soon, I promise! And, I will drop by all of your blogs to catch up as soon as I can.
So... how was your CNY / Valentine's Day?
May we all have a Tiggerific year ahead!

I'll be flying back to my hometown, Tawau later for Chinese New Year and I'll not be blogging for the next TWO WEEKS!!! Oh dear, I'm going to miss you guys dearly. I will be back on February 27th but before I go off myself, I'd like to wish all who are celebrating Chinese New Year, GONG XI FA CAI! Have a safe journey back to your hometowns, stuff your faces, collect tones of angpau (I can smell the crisp notes already
) and toss yee sang till your fingers go numb.

This year's February is not just a month of prosperity; it is also the month of love.

Happy Year of the Tiger, Happy Valentine's Day and Happy Holiday to all of YOU!
