I was invited to join for an exquisite drinking experience with Suntory The Premium Malt's at:

#1 @ Fukuya Restaurant

on 21 December 2010!

Just in case you didn't know, merry beer fans and city dwellers will soon be able to taste and Kampai with a brand new beer called Suntory The Premium Malt's, winner of the Grand Gold Medal at the Monde Selection for three consecutive years! This golden beer is set to please Malaysians' palates with its elegant aroma, sharp and enriched bitter taste, exported from Japan to the world.

So, The Premium Malt's. Erm... How do I describe it? Honestly, if I were to compare this to other beers out there it wouldn't be that fair because Suntory The Premium Malt's is indeed a newcomer in beer world especially in Malaysia! Let's consider it this way. The very moment it is poured the foam looks so fine. It flows smoothly and easily into the beer glass.

Then, comes to my first sip it tells me that this beer is indeed smooth and easy to drink. Suntory The Premium Malt's is a type of beer, which I consider as light and easy type. Perhaps, the smoothness of it shows the high quality combination of ingredients used as well as fine craftsmanship's in brewing this one remarkable beer. However, never be fooled by its lightness and smoothness, Suntory The Premium Malt's definitely has its own 'kick'.

Overall, it does have an acceptable bitterness and extremely flavorful for a lager.

#1 La Gomera Spanish Buffet & Dining @ Neo Damansara, Damansara Perdana.

On Christmas Eve, we had a Spanish-style buffet dinner at this newly open restaurant and it is the 1st restaurant that offers Spanish Buffet Dinner in Malaysia, with reasonable price (RM49.90 per person)!




The buffet included tapas, seafood, pizza, steak and plenty of desserts.

By the way, they served FREE Sangria Famous Red Wine Cocktail (from Spain) - Home made Sangria Chilled Spanish Red Wine with Citrus Fruit worth RM14.90 PLUS special dish - Turkey also that night!

#14 Deep-fried mushrooms.

#15 Raw Oysters. They are my favorite food and I can't even remember how many fresh raw oysters I ate!

#19 Halfway eating, a chef came to our table and served us some meat.

There were all kinds of meat like sirloin, tenderloin, rib eye, beef rib, lamb leg, lamb shoulder, and lamb shank. Oh, and it's PORK FREE!





Next, it was turkey time!

#24 The bird was out of the oven and it was time to carve turkey.

#25 Turkey with some sort of stuffing.

#26 Tiramisu.

#27 Mango Pudding.

#28 Ice-cream.

We had a great time, and enjoyed the atmosphere, the food. Smiley Everything was delicious but I over-gorged myself!
