Have you ever attended an Indian wedding reception before?
Last night, I attended an Indian wedding reception for the first time!
The reception was held in a school hall. Again, it was my first time attending a wedding reception in a school hall.
I was unsure of how formal the wedding reception was. Obviously, I could not figure out the formality level of the dress code as well.
We arrived early at the venue and before I stepped into the hall, my first reaction was, "Uh-oh, am I over-dressed?" (That was usually the case) which made Ralph burst out laughing.
What do you think?
As for the wedding, I had a good time! I truly enjoyed the colorful experience of being a part of an Indian wedding, which I will save for another post.

Overdressed? as long you are not underdressed okay la. hehe. Cantik apa. Mon in wonderland :-D.
I ve been only once to an Indian wedding, at that was a long time ago. My classmate, who was in form four, dropped school and married at that age. Though we did not agree, we still came to show support as friends. hehe.
I like your blue dress colour.
Wah, last picture, posing with blue theme colour is it? =-O :-D
don't worry girl,you looks great :) so pretty :)
Hi sweetie.. You look so beautiful! Tho the dress look a little like going to a prom or something.. :-D But then it's alright la, they usually won't mind if other race over-dress or underdress coz they understand it's not the same culture.. :-P
wow!!you look pretty and beautiful mon.
WOW! You look so stunning and gorgeous, Sweetie!
I love what I am seeing. You weren't overdressed. So sexy! :-)
Wah!! I love your blue dress and the high heels! 8-) 8-) 8-)
But I can tell you that you are definitely overdressed for an Indian wedding UNLESS it's a very high class Indian wedding LOL!! :-D
So I guess everyone must be looking at you and whispering to each other "Who is this girl dressed like that?" Haha!
But it's good to be the centre of attention, no? Well as long as you are not the centre of attention because you are underdressed. Haha!!
You look beautiful as always Mon! Miss ya! Sorry for missing out lately ;)
OMG Mon! :) You look soooo gorgeous!
I absolutely loooove the dress! :)
I can't wait to read about your Indian wedding experience.. :-D I have never been to an Indian wedding before.. :-P
If you had given us more details and images of the reception and of the bride and groom, I can say whether you're overdressed or not. But you look so pretty and amazing so even if you're overdressed, no one will mind....you're just pretty to look at. :)
You look classy and gorgeous and overall, I don't think there's anything wrong with being dressed up for a wedding. I can't stand people who show up to weddings in jeans. I've been to an Indian wedding before.. and with all the colours and all the "bling" and what not, it's great to be bold and outstanding. Overdressed for me would be wearing a dress like that to the beach. for a wedding, you'll be just fine. :) I love the dress.. it's a great colou, style and the fitting on you is perfect. Love it! :)
I hope you enjoyed yourself immensely and weren't too worried about being overdressed. :D
you look absolutely gorgeous and the outfit fits u so well.
