For many people, Easter is all about a magical bunny that visits in the night, leaving candy and colorful eggs in his wake. Why have rabbits and eggs become linked with Easter? Eggs, of course, are ancient symbols of fertility. While the Easter bunny or rabbit comes from the hare, another ancient, pre-Christian symbol of fertility associated with spring.



However, for a Christian like me, Easter is so much more. It's the day that we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ after the crucifixion and it's the most important Christian festival.
