We initially wanted to go to this coffeeshop called Shin Kee Beef Noodles Specialist, which we hear is located somewhere around Petaling Street, Chinatown. We have tried the famous Tangkak Beef Noodles, but have yet to try Shin Kee Beef Noodles.

Unfortunately, we couldn't find the coffeeshop, as we are not familiar with eateries in that area so we went to Petaling Street, the street that gathers locals and tourists every day and night, instead.

There was a beef noodle stall along the alley in Petaling Street, which probably has been around for decades, and we decided to try it. Our food came quickly enough. 5 minutes after ordering, our bowls of beef noodle soup arrived.

I wouldn't say that it's the best I've had. The beef was very tender and tasty but the broth was not rich enough.

As far as beef noodles go – Tangkak Beef Noodles has hands-down, the best beef noodle soup I've ever tasted, period.

Yums! Since the past few weeks, I always order beef noodle soup when i eat out.. Maybe it's my mood but I love it! I can never make it the same like at stalls. Maybe coz I hate waiting too long for the broth to be thick. :-D

I will be making soup for dinner. This gives me the perfect idea on what to have. Looks so delicious though as you've mention, the broth's not rich enough.

I haven't eaten any beef noodles at Petaling Street or at Tangkak. Must try one day!

Have you tried PhoHoa's vietnamese beef noodles? I love it! Currently my favourite beef noodles :)
