Chatime originated from Taiwan, offering the best of bubble tea freshly brewed on site and there are varieties of rich flavored and fragrant bubble tea available to suit everyone's taste buds!

The choice of toppings ranges from tapioca pearls and grass jelly, to pudding, coconut jelly, coffee jelly, red beans, and aloe vera. Customers can have the degree of sweetness in their orders customized: From non-sugar (0%) to slight, to half, less, normal or extra (110%). The same goes for the ice options.

Chatime boasts over 120 flavors of drinks, and we couldn't decide what to order from the extensive menu when we came here after dinner on a warm day.

Then we saw this...

Chatime's Top Sellers

So, I ordered the Grass Jelly Milk Tea, and it was okay. Their Grass Jelly Milk Tea tasted like regular milk tea, so I couldn't tell what was special about the "special." Maybe it's just me. However, I loved the sealed tops.

Ralph ordered the Strawberry Pudding Au Lait, and it tasted wonderful!

Servings come in regular and large sizes, and the prices are quite reasonable.

Oh, they do serve coffee too, so that's a plus for me because I'm more of a coffee person than a tea person.

Hello pretty Monica!

I so love tapioca pearls on shakes and smoothies! Wow!

MaxiVelasco said... @ 23/7/11 9:14 PM

I actually made my own shake yesterday. Boiled some tapioca and had them with a glass of chocolate ice cream which I slushed on my blender. T'was an experiment but it tasted really good :)

I love the pearl milk tea here! The pearls are super bouncy and QQ and very generous! Hehe.. Haven't tried the grass jelly before though I heard good comments about it. But since you said the strawberry is wonderful, I'm planning to try that out!! :)

Jean said... @ 24/7/11 6:58 PM

but usually the one that claims to be authentic taiwan milk tea doesn't taste nice or was just okay. :-P

Jean said... @ 24/7/11 6:59 PM

even the hong kong buble milk tea is just okay for me.. my fave is the one from summit. It's ice blended bubble milk tea. gooey black pearl with aromatic tea fragrant. yummm~~ :-D :-D

haha.. R is like M. Usually when we go for drinks such as these, i will go for tea or coffee while M will go for fruity flavor! :)
