We watched the midnight showing of Transformers 3 also known as "Transformers: Dark of the Moon" and when the 154-minute (yes, it's that long) movie finally ended, my feeling was one of exhilaration, not exhaustion.
The storyline reveals what happens when the Autobots discover a Cybertronian spacecraft hidden on the Moon and a race ensues against the Decepticons to reach it and uncover its secrets. However, when the Transformers can't save the planet, it's left in the hands of humans.
Megan Fox, the girlfriend of Sam from the previous two films is gone and replaced by hot Victoria's Secret model and first-time actress Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.
The best thing about the movie, of course, is the action, which packed with mind-blowing, robot-killing action and backed by an interesting story. Sam breathlessly run, jumps, slide, and soar through the utter destruction of Chicago. Carly (Rosie Huntington-Whiteley) does it without a gun, and while wearing high heels.
Linkin Park's latest single "Iridescent" from their album A Thousand Suns was featured in the film Transformers: Dark of the Moon and the music video from the motion picture soundtrack incorporates footage from Transformers 3 bathed in black and white and using slow motion. Check it out!
