Crabs are one of my all time favorite seafood. I absolutely LOVE crabs, despite the fact that they are hard to eat.
Amongst all sorts of cooking styles, I love claypot butter crabs the most and this is the only restaurant I know of that serves claypot butter crabs. Their signature butter crabs (RM45 per kg) in clay pot is a must-try because diners go to Wong Poh specifically for it!
Vegetable Dish (RM8)
Claypot Butter Crabs (RM52.80) with aromatic curry leaves and bird's eye chilies
The butter crabs here were mouth-watering, finger-licking, must-check-out-immediately GOOD! *transported to crab heaven*
Fried Buns (RM2.80)
Nothing beats sopping up the thick, rich and creamy butter sauce with the fried buns while devouring the crabs. Frankly, I find crab meat to be tastier than lobster but don't get me wrong. I love both!
Total bill was around RM67+, which included one pot of tea and a bowl of rice.
