I've always loved batik painting and batik art; they are exceptionally beautiful with strong colors. The longer I look at every creation made, the more I fell in love with it!

#7 Children trying out batik painting at PD Batik's booth, set up by PD Batik owner Zakaria Idris with his wife Rosilawati Maabar @ Bukit Bintang Plaza.

"As far as I am concerned, a painting speaks for itself. What is the use of giving explanations, when all is said and done? A painter has only one language." ~Pablo Picasso

For some people, batik art may become their main source of income since they regularly sell their final creations. For me, it can be a spare-time activity or as a hobby where I keep them for myself. Also, who on earth would want to buy a painting from an unknown artist?
