by Mayumi Itsuwa!

Do you know this song or this singer?

Apparently, she was a very famous Japanese singer and songwriter. After "Koibito yo (meaning my dear lover)" became a hit, Itsuwa gained popularity also in non-Japanese Asian countries during the 1980s.

Ralph was so shocked he nearly fell off his chair when I told him I've never heard of this song or this singer before, ever, in my life!

This song was a departure from her signature folk style. Recorded in Paris France, it has lush string arrangements and an air of melancholy drama. It's a beautifully written tragic love song about a break-up story where the woman is freezing on a park bench, waiting for her lover to come back...

Back home, we hardly eat out, as my parents would cook loads of delicious food every single day. To me, there is nothing beats home-cooked food!

Certainly, we would also suggest eating out and there is one thing I surely don't want to miss - the Mongolian Chicken Rice!

Anchovies in chili paste.

It's simple, but delicious and relatively cheap. The only downer is that this place is ALWAYS crowded around lunchtime.

I can hardly wait to eat it again 'cause I can't seem to find Mongolian Chicken Rice here.

If you happen to visit Tawau, try it! It's located at Jalan Chester. Hmmm... Sorry, I don't remember the name of the coffee shop.

iwannagohome! @ The Gardens Mall.

After a long day of shopping and hanging out with friends, I just wanna go home, get into the bathtub, sip a mug of chamomile tea, close my eyes and soak in a warm tub of lavender bath salts. Oh yes, that is the LIFE!

There is nothing like staying at home for real comfort. The light is what guides me home; the warmth is what keeps me there.

I've always had an active interest in beauty products and stuff for hair, skin, nails, makeup... anything! However, I've never tried any beauty supplement drinks before.

I was at the Caring Pharmacy this evening and I saw this NH Colla-Plus, a new super-concentrated marine collagen beauty drink launched under the NH Beauty Series.

What is a collagen beauty drink?

"Besides piling layers of anti-aging products on your skin, collagen drinks could do just the trick of helping to pump in and make up for the loss of collagen in your skin," the retail pharmacist said.

When I heard that, it captured my attention instantly! Let's be honest, wrinkles are certainly not pleasant and you have no chance of avoiding them. Who would want wrinkles on their faces, dry and sagging skin? I don't, do you?

Fortunately, I haven't succumbed into a giant bag of wrinkles just YET. However, the best time to start anti-aging creams and potions is before you visibly need them.

Well, I haven't bought the NH Colla-Plus but I am very interested in it and I went to their site.

Formulated in Japan for Asians, NH Colla-Plus is using the latest spray dry technology to break down molecules for easier and effective absorption deep into the skin to strengthen skin foundation.

7 Uniqueness of NH Colla-Plus

* Japan formulation that is suitable for all skin types.
* Contains 5000 mg of marine collagen, natural Vitamin C and red grape juice concentrate.
* Contains 17 types of essential and non-essential amino acids to improve skin texture.
* Utilizes latest spray drying technology for fast visible results.
* High body absorption rate up to 99%.
* Consume one bottle every alternate day.
* Made from 100% all-natural ingredients with no added preservatives or additives.

7 Beauty Effects of NH Colla-Plus

* Strengthens and supports the skin's structure to improve skin tone and elasticity.
* Enhances moisture-holding capacity of skin cells.
* Nourishes skin to prevent ageing and smoothens fine line and wrinkles.
* Whitens skin and brightens a dull complexion.
* Promotes tissue regeneration to heal injured skin and scars.
* Accelerates metabolism to rejuvenate the skin.
* Revitalizes healthy hair and nails with a complete range of amino acids.

Highly recommended for

* Those who work in air-conditioned rooms
* Those with sluggish skin metabolism
* Post-delivery and lactating mothers
* Stressed individuals, people who sleep late and those who with unhealthy diets
* Those who suffer from wrinkles, sagging skin, dry skin, dull complexion, and other ageing skin problems

Has anyone tried NH Colla-Plus before? Does it really produce an anti-aging effect on your skin?

There are a few collagen drinks on the market nowadays. If you've tried one already, please let me know what you think!

When I was in Tawau, my mom ordered my favorite French Vanilla Mille Crepe Cake in advance and they delivered it on my birthday!

This was my third birthday cake.

In case you didn't know, a Mille Crepe Cake is a French Cake with “mille” meaning “a thousand” layers.

It was absolutely delicious - light, fluffy, very subtle, not overly sweet, not overly creamy, but just perfect to savor. Oh so yummy! Smiley The taste was unbelievable. Everyone loved it. Ralph is not much of a cake person, but he took another slice after he had a slice of it.

This is the best cake ever, period. I'm totally craving it now!

Does anyone know where I can get a delicious Mille Crepe Cake here in PJ or KL?

Being called stylish can mean so many things. Apart from your look, what makes you a stylish person is how you present yourself. And that includes how you dress up.

You can dress some people in a beautiful outfit, and they still act like a dolt. Yet other people walk into a room dressed in a t-shirt and pair of shorts and they "own" the room. They move, act and behave beautifully and are admired by everyone. People gravitate toward them. They are quietly self confident and utterly charming.

Well, I don't consider myself a truly stylish person. I sometimes look clownish!

However, I am delighted and honored to have received this Stylish Blogger Award!

RULES FOR RECEIVING THE AWARD

1) Thank and link back the person who gave you this award.

Thank you very much Mariuca, Lainy and David!

2) Share 7 things about yourself.

* I'm not a romantic person. There's not a romantic bone in my body.

* I'm stubborn and opinionated.

* I tend to be controlling, and I hate leaving anything up to chance.

* I hardly ever lose my temper.

* I used to like to date around a lot. It was hard for me to date one person only.

* I don't like to argue - and I prefer a quiet, peaceful life.

* I'm wild at heart, but I have some hidden soft spots.

3) Award 15 great bloggers you know.

4) Contact these bloggers and tell them about the award.

I am presenting the Stylish Blogger Award to Bingkee, Maxi, LR, LadyJava, Shemah, Gagay, Foong, Caroline, Ane, Bella, Just Plain Tired, Tekkaus, Michael, Rizal, and Soulie!

It is truly fascinating how human ingenuity could transform what is basically ordinary silica sand, with some additional ingredients and a lot of fire, into such a magical medium as murano glass. Today, it is one of the most famous glass products in the world. All murano glass is handmade by artisans exclusively on the island of Murano in the Venetian Lagoon.

Glass Of Venice (www.GlasOfVenice.com) is a market leader in online sales of Venetian Glass. Unlike conventional web stores that use a standard template for selling plethora of products, GlassOfVenice.com is carefully tailored to meet the unique requirements of Murano Glass.

On the website, you will find incredible selection of murano glass products. Take a look at these beautiful murano glass pendants. Here is a picture of one of them:

Murano Glass Pendants

GlassOfVenice offers incredible selection of products, all handmade in Murano, Italy. All products are authentic and come with certificates of authenticity. GlassOfVenice keeps large inventory in stock so that most of the orders are shipped on the same day. The inventory, especially the jewelry section, is updated with new products several times per month to keep loyal customers coming back for more and attract new customers by always offering a fresh selection of murano glass.

For those interested in wholesale murano glass, they offer a separate website, www.MuranoGlassWorld.com, where wholesale clients can view products and place wholesale orders. The knowledgeable staff is just as passionate about Venetian glass as the dedicated customers. The website also includes a wealth of information about the history of murano glass and different styles and techniques.

I'm back from my hometown! Oh, how I missed you all!

Did you miss me?

First of all, thank you for the birthday wishes! I also want to thank Mariuca, LJ and David for the wonderful and beautifully written birthday posts on their blogs. Thank you all, sincerely! *muah!!!*

While looking through pictures on my camera, I realized my last three weeks in Tawau were spent relaxing at home, filling my belly with tasty, hearty meals prepared with love, what more can I ask for! My Chinese New Year holidays could be summed up pretty simply: eat, sleep, shit and watch Astro all day, every day.

Lou Yee Sang!

My ang pows. Woohoo, it's time to go shopping!

Phew~ got tons of stuff to do and I don't know where to start. I'm just too lazy to do anything!

Massive updates coming soon.

Oh, by the way, I'm finally on Facebook! Ok, ok, I don't know why I put it off so long either. Anyway, I have no idea how to locate some of you guys. So, add me on Facebook!
