Located between the towns of Tanah Rata and Brinchang, this English cottage-style hotel, which has a colonial ambience amidst the cool greens of Cameron Highlands, was originally opened during the Christmas of 1937 by Englishman Douglas Warin and it was called Ye Olde Smokehouse Inn back then.
Last year, we came here on Christmas Day.
I can never get enough of the view of their award-winning gardens that has many colorful flowers and small plants, resembling an English cottage garden as the blossoming flowers added an extra punch of color and livelihood to the place!
I took so many photos and I wish I could put them all up, but I've to go start packing now because I'm going home TOMORROW for 18 days!
I won't be able to update my blog by then (I'm going to miss you all so much ), and this will be my last blog post until I get back here so let me take this opportunity to wish all my Chinese friends and readers a very Happy Chinese New Year! I hope you all get to spend lots of quality time with your family and friends.
