I've been wanting to visit this Secret Garden, which is on the roof of 1 Utama Shopping Centre, but I lose track of time every time I go shopping. So this time around, I made sure to visit the 'garden in the sky' first while the sun was still up and then only continued with our shopping. We heard this place existed but didn't know exactly where it was. I felt like a secret agent on a secret mission to find this secret place. Low and behold we found this garden and I've to say it's picturesque and perfectly serene - just how secret rooftop gardens should be!
Oh, if only there was someone up there selling grilled meat or maybe a few cafes accessible from the garden...

This is a lovely dress in flare design and it fits well! It can easily be dressed up for a date night, pair it with a pair of heels (depending on the look you are searching for), but I decided to dress it down casually for the day.
Description: The new season heralds the return of painterly floral, and this dress is a chic way to work the trend! A ruched back and fitted waist ensures a feminine silhouette – complete the look with black pumps and sparkly clutch for a dinner date! The details include detachable and adjustable straps, sweetheart neckline, wide waistband, ruched back and inner white lining.
Price: RM 55
As you see, you do not need to spend a lot to dress up in season's hottest trends. Also, it comes in two colors, green and orchid. I think it's beautiful and perfect for a daytime wedding or a nighttime summer party too!
By the way, Whitesoot has something special for all you fashionistas! Find out more @ whitesoot.blogspot.com, happy shopping!

Hello Saturday! *giving myself a pat on the back for getting up before 10am today to do what needed to be done haha* If you don't already know, I'm not a morning person.
Right now, I'm...
chilling by the poolside @ Kiaraville (a luxury condominium located in Mont Kiara), and transferring photos from my camera to my friend's lappie, while waiting for her to change into her red-hot bikini. *so sexy*
There's nothing quite like a dip in the pool when the weather heats up!
Come find me if you can. Oh, have I ever mentioned I can't swim? So if you see someone struggling in the water, it's probably me. *so unsexy fml*

While we were on vacation in Taiwan, we did notice a shocking number of elderly women who look far younger than their age. Curiously, I wondered how they kept their faces looking younger than their real age. Surely, there must be some secrets to their beauty success!
“I also want to look young, so how many kg of bird's nest do I need to eat?” I asked jokingly.
“No bird's nest, we eat pigs' trotters!”
I know, shocking right!?
I didn't know this, but perhaps you do.
Ever heard of collagen? Well, these women eat pigs' trotters regularly because apart from the rich nutrition and taste, trotters are rich in collagen, which is essential for young-looking skin as it prevents lines and wrinkles. This age-old Chinese beauty food holds the secret to firm luminous skin. It's also believed that the natural collage in pigs' trotters helps strengthen joints and ligament!
The braised pork trotters with Chinese black vinegar however, of all the dishes we were served was my least favorite while we were there.

Only a ten-minute ride outside the city of Hualien, Chihsingtan (Seven Star Lake) beach lies at the tip of a crescent bay offering extensive scenery overlooking the blue-green Pacific Ocean!
However, this long, wide beach was full of pebbles and rocks, not sand! So it's impossible to walk on the beach or into the beautiful ocean without sandals or flip flops unless you've feet made of leather. And of course, tanning on a pebble beach doesn't work, unless you've a back and a butt made of steel.
#10 Interestingly, an air force base is located right next to Chihsingtan.
Despite its convenient location, Chihsingtan beach remains relatively uncrowded even on weekends. Well, there was nothing much to do here but watched the clouds rolling by.
It's no wonder that most people head straight for the impressive marble gorge at Taroko National Park when it comes to visiting Hualien!
