This has to be one of the best ways to wind up the day - cruising down the Love River while Kaohsiung's riverside landmarks glide past and the rest of the world rushes home!

#11 The 'Love Boat'
We arrived around 6.30pm when the sun was beginning to set and took a river cruise to see the city from a different perspective. It was also a perfect timing to see the skyline awash with vibrant colors and the buildings all lit up. I was like, "Wow...truly spectacular!"
The person who gave live commentary explained the history of the river and the buildings etc, but I wasn't really paying any attention to him; I was too busy snapping away...hahaha!

Our tour guide recommended coming here for a romantic, relaxing, beautiful evening. "Take a stroll along the riverbank, sip a cup of aromatic coffee in an open-air cafe, watch the beautiful sunset and be sure to pause for a kiss, because this is a love river after all," he said.
So get your smooches on while looking out towards the sunset!
Hmmm, I went with my family and a group of strangers mostly aged 50 or over, so it wasn't romantic and intimate at all. *not sure if gusta*
