Went to the shopping centre to meet up with a friend for some coffee since she had about two hours to kill before taking the SkyBus from 1 Utama to the airport. It's always nice having a catch up with an old friend. We were talking so much we almost lost track of time and after hugged her goodbye, I decided to get my nails done at The Nail Parlour, even though I was a little hungry.

When Ralph came over from work that Saturday evening, he asked me what I wanted for dinner.

I simply answered "Japanese food!"

"Sweet. Sorted."

Hurrah! However, we were not in the mood for conveyor-belt sushi, but in a little-bit-of-this-little-of-that mood instead. Then I remembered hearing about this Japanese Restaurant on the lower ground floor, so we went there.

I'm kinda glad we went there because they offer a variety of teishoku (set meals) too!

Negi Takoyaki (RM6.80 / 6pcs) - fried octopus balls (hmmm, do they have balls?) which I'm sure many would enjoy that. I know Ralph did.

And he decided to go for the Tonkotsu Hanchan Set (RM22).

Ocha (RM2) & Iced Honey Lemon Ocha (RM4)

I think the only time I drink green tea is when I'm in a Japanese restaurant.

Yes, of course, I ordered Salmon Sashimi Set (RM24); I gotta have my raw salmon! Then there's the bowl of steaming rice, salad, chawanmushi, temaki and tempura, all drizzled with a savory (and slightly sweet) thick soy sauce, with miso soup on the side. Everything was very tasty (especially the rice) and I enjoyed every bite.

I left feeling full, but not stuffed, and didn't need to run to KyoChon after this meal to get any fried chicken! Ralph, on the other hand, said his pants were getting tighter hahaha. Well, I'm not a fan of octopus, so he ended up eating all six octo-balls. Is he a friggin fan or what?!

And just like that, we're already nine months into the year. I feel like I just flipped my table calendar to August a week ago! And, uh, I didn't post an entry in all of August!? Yeah yeah, bad blogger, no cookie for me.

Anyhow, I was so lucky to get some new things in the last few months and one of the happiest packages I've received so far this year was a pair of Melissa pumps from ZALORA x MELISSA! I've been wanting to get a pair of Melissa shoes, but I couldn't decide which style to get because I was thrilled by the selection of sandals, wedges, high-heels, flats and boots.

If you still haven't heard of this Brazilian footwear brand, Melissa is the world's no. 1 plastic footwear brand in creating innovative designs, electrifying imaginations, frequently collaborating with high-end designers such as Vivienne Westwood, Issey Miyake, Jean Paul Gaultier and most recently Karl Lagerfeld.

Well, well, well.

It was a hard task to pick a favorite, but as soon as I laid my eyes on these pair of Melissa Incense Wing II Pumps (RM499) which feature a court shoes style body with matte finish in bold fuchsia pink, I knew I had to have them! *hearts in eyes*

I don't know if you know I love pink (not referring to Pink, the singer). I've a lot of pink hues in my wardrobe, but guess what? I've never had a pair of pink heels before so I can't wait to see what they look good with, for both party and casual wear.

Although pretty high (heel measures 4.5 inch), these heels are ridiculously comfortable. The insoles see Melflex (a malleable plastic that molds easily to the foot and breathes well) blended with a velveteen technology to ensure maximum comfort. Plus, it is totally hypoallergenic, odorless and recyclable.

You can't really tell from the picture, but the pair of angel wings on heel are shiny and glittery.

Oh, they're also can be easily cleaned with soap and water. Perfect for the wet weather, I can wear these babies in the rain and they won't get ruined.

Best part of it all, aside from being super comfortable, ALL MELISSA SHOES ARE INFUSED WITH A SWEET BUBBLE GUM SCENT (to keep your tootsies titillating *ahem*)!!!
