After almost two weeks with a different sleep/wake cycle every single day, I look like a dead daisy that got sprayed with weed killer and then got trampled, despite getting 7-8 hours of sleep each day. Not only my sleep is erratic, I eat at ridiculous hours and mealtime is... well, completely off schedule.

Dropped by IPC Shopping Centre for a while a few days ago and decided to grab some food at IKEA Restaurant.

Man, I feel like I haven't been here in decades!

As usual, I opted for the Swedish Meatballs with mashed potatoes and a mouth-watering side of lingonberry sauce, mmmm my mouth salivates as I type this.

After eating the whole plate of 15 pieces meatballs and some Green Salad, all I wanted to do was lay out on the IKEA beds!

Ralph went for the Pasta with 5 Meatballs.

For some reason he thought the Chicken Spring Rolls tasted like they had been sitting around awhile haha.

We got outta the restaurant with our full tummies for RM31 including drink. Oh, and we went during off-peak hours (3:30pm), so it wasn't packed like sardines. *pats self on back for waking up early loll*

We probably would not have discovered this cafe if Artisan Roast Coffee @ TTDI, the other cafe that we initially wanted to go to was crammed full. Well, maybe it's one of a great places for socializing at weekends, but I dislike going to overcrowded cafes where getting a place to park my butt is the biggest accomplishment I'm going to make.

Kaffe Cafe itself is cozy with its warm, dim lighting; they've sofas near the back area and an outdoor seating area with wooden crates.

Glad we stopped by for a brew as I had a minor headache due to caffeine withdrawal that day!

Flat White (RM9), Hazelnut Latte (RM10), Vanilla Latte (RM10), Caramel Latte (RM10)

Frappe Hazelnut Latte (RM11)

For something to nibble on (the clock was ticking to suppertime), I decided that the Carrot Cake (RM10) and Oreo Cheesecake (RM10) were calling my name.

What could be more comforting than a cup of hot coffee and a warm carrot cake?

I love Oreo Cheesecake because it combines my love of Oreos and cheese!

I'm a big milky-strong-coffee drinker, so I ordered a Flat White that has just about the right amount of caffeine to get my engine going again. *vroom! vroom!*

Is there any Flat White lover here? Where have you had the best Flat White you've ever tried?

I had a weird dream last night and I remember "It's Time" being played in the background. The indie rock Gods must have been smiling down on me for listening to Imagine Dragons' (an American alternative rock band) debut album 'Night Visions' a few times in a row haha.

So, what songs / albums have you been listening to lately?

The rainy weather for the past few days has been the perfect excuse to have steamboat and I just love all-you-can-eat buffets! When we got there around 7:30 pm, there were people queuing outside the restaurant, which is located at the first floor. Thank God, we made a prior reservation!

We usually go all the way to Sunway Mentari for steamboat since there're many steamboat restaurants over there and we're used to having one large boiling pot of two broths in the centre of the table. However, Mo Mo Paradise offers individual ones so I was particularly excited and I was all, "Hey, look, I'm cooking my own meal!"

#2 This was my individual pot, we had six small pots at our table and each of us chose our own broth.

#3 Four types of broths, I chose herbal soup base.

Everything was satisfactory - food, service etc. It costs RM35 per person for unlimited free flow of everything including drinks. We stayed for about 2 hours chatting and laughing and eating and I only lasted a round three.

#8 Some people went crazy mixing and matching to their heart's content at the sauce bar, but I stood there like an idiot, wondering how to make delicious dipping sauce.

#11 Oh, I love how they offer BBQ as well. My favorite is the Taiwanese sausage!

And the best part of the meal? Slurping up a bowl of the flavorful broth as soup at the end was utter bliss. Smiley

While looking for a chill-out place to chat over coffee after our dinner at Bad Boy Cooks in Oasis Square (the food was eh... so-so), the five of us stumbled upon this cafe and decided to go in. It wasn't too crowded on a Sunday night and we scored a spot on the couches!

I like cafes with a laid-back atmosphere and the people that work behind the counter were all friendly enough.

#2

#3 We didn't try any cakes, but they looked good.

The best part, as should be for any cafe, is the coffee.

"Epiphany Coffee & Tobacco is the only tobacconist café in Ara Damansara! We serve Indonesian coffee roasted by specialty coffee roaster, The Flightless Mule Roasters. Grown in the Ratawali Farm in Gayo, Aceh and roasted locally to ensure you get the freshest coffee in Ara Damansara. Expect to savour coffee with dark plum flavours and a complex earthy undertone.

We are also a fully stocked tobacconist offering a wide range of Roll-Your-Own (RYO) tobacco products, cigars, snus and other tobacco accessories. We cater to both non-smokers and smokers (air-conditioned non-smoking and smoking seating available)."

Hazelnut Caffe Latte

Macchiato

I had Chocolate Marshmallow Latte, which was delicious and undeniable that it satisfied me!

Iced Chocolate

While some cafes or restaurants are not allowing customers to take photos of their food and drinks to share on social media outlets *thumbs down*, others are embracing it as an advertising opportunity.

Oh and it stays open relatively late (until 11:30 pm) compared to other cafes around the area, so that's a plus for night owls like us haha!
